Project Manager

The Project Manager for this location is responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing projects from start through completion, setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines, budget, and safety standards, as well as to uphold business initiatives. Projects will be for our clients in the chemical industry.
Requirements/Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience required, to include managing project teams, resources, budgets, schedules, etc.
  • Strong project management skills, including budget, schedule and resources, results-driven, with ability to manage multiple teams and projects of various sizes and scopes while meeting deadlines, budget and safety expectations and requirements.
  • Must possess exemplary leadership skills, highly motivated and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical thought process with sound judgement and a keen attention to detail.
  • Must be a self-starter with a collaborative spirit.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



Desired/Preferred Experience:

  • PE license or PMP certification preferred.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams consisting of architects, designers, structural engineers, civil engineers, process engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, construction managers and general contractors as needed.
  • Create long-term and short-term project plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Delegating project tasks
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
  • Equipment and material purchasing and tracking.
  • Communicate and meet with client to clarify specific requirements of each project and to keep project goals aligned.
  • Track project performance and analyze the successful completion of short and long term goals.
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Maintain and adjust schedules, targets, and resources on the project as needs or financing for the project change.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to work holidays, weekends and extended hours, as required for shutdowns

- Must have valid driver’s license
